ZL1 1LE diffuser vs ZL1 diffuser

Does anyone happen to have the OEM part number for the ZL1 1LE satin/matte version of the rear diffuser? I plan to swap the front lip/grills of my ZL1 to the ZL1 1LE better flowing versions and would like to match the satin/matte look of the front to the rear diffuser (and will have the side skirts or whatever they are called satin/matte wrapped to match (well, at least get close to matching).

I've found this: https://www.gmpartsnow.com/oem-parts...cover-84306917

But it's description is just "With perf exhaust, with zl1." so not sure?? Lol.

Thank you!

Easier solution is to have the 1LE front splitter painted to match the ZL1 side skirts and rear diffuser. That's what I did.

Yeah, I'm also leaning towards that, but does the canards, grill, the piece that replaces the day time running lights section, etc, all in matte/satin look weird with gloss lip?

Kind of like the satin look especially for durability if I tag the lip on the ground a few times it seems it would hold up better than if I get it painted and what not, lol.

I didn't do the canards, just the splitter. I haven't scuffed mine on anything yet in the 15 months I've owned the car.

That looks pretty nice How long after paint can one get a part PPF wrapped I wonder?

Also considering maybe doing a thick ppf style vinyl wrap of carbon fiber weave on the lip to match the heat extractor. Hmm.. If I did that I'd also do the canards and the inlet pieces.

I believe most paint shops recommend you let new paint gas out for 30 days before applying any sealant of any kind which would probably include PPF.

So @Z oh 6 you didn't paint your ZLE grille Mosaic Black, just your ZLE splitter?

No, the grills are not painted. Due to the texture, the body shop did not recommend it. They said the paint likely wouldn't adhere properly.

The rear diffuser is the same part between ZL1 and ZL1 1LE. Just as the side skirts are the same part between ZL1 and ZL1 1LE coupe (the convertible ones have a slightly different internal mounting bracket, which can be swapped out BTW). The difference is just the metallic black with gloss clear vs black with satin clear paint. You don't can't order those parts from GM pre-painted.

Ahhh, thank you for the info!! That's to bad! I'm trying to be lazy, LOL.

I probably will just get the lip vinyl wrapped or something with some thick protective wrap, maybe carbon fiber weave or something to match the heat extractor, and maybe the canards as well.

It's probably $300 worth to get the rear diffuser painted in black + stain clear. That's removing the rear bumper and removing the diffuser and dropping the diffuser off to a paint/collision shop. However, I will tell you the ZL1 rear diffuser is a small pain to remove and re-install to the rear bumper - you almost end up breaking off two of the tabs from the bumper... you have to be pretty careful and strategic.
