I haven't posted since I sold my '12 ZL1 and maybe interested in a '18. I can't find a Camaro with Recaro seats to try in my area. Is the bottom seat cushion foam is firmer than the standard seat foam? Do you sit more on top of the foam, or sink into it?

I have a 2012 ZL1 as well. I have sat in the new ZL1 and 1LE Recaros (Same Seat) and found the firmness the same as our seats. But... they are much more comfortable.

Thanks for letting me know. I also find the 6th gen seat to be more comfortable than the 5th gen. I was hoping the Recaro would use a little higher density foam than the standard seat

I can't speak for the 5th Gen ZL1 or even the 6th Gen SS seats but I did trade in my 13 2SS/RS for a 17 ZL1 and these Recaro seats are awesome! Not sure about the foam but I don't feel I "sink" into them but they most definitely "hug" you!
