2019 headlamps
I've read that there are no changes to the ZL1 front end for 2019. Does the ZL1 currently have LED headlamps? I can't find this info anywhere.

Just wondering, could we put an LED replacement bulb in our ‘17/‘18 headlights?

Yeah, I’m going to have the dealer adjust my headlights at the next oil change. I too get flashed. But I’m certain they are aimed too high from the factory. Every car with HIDs I’ve driven the cutoff line angles down...in the ZL1 it angles UP!

I’ve never been flashed. The difference is drastic between this car and my BMW with LED headlamps. Makes my ZL1 1LE look like halogen. :(

I agree, the LED's on my SuperDuty are far better than the bulbs on the Z.

The problem with the 6th gen HIDs are the bulb temp is too low, needs to higher, 5000K is the perfect pure white temp...you can change those bulbs, not cheap though, but it is doable. I have LED's in my 2018 Equinox, they are a little sharper than a 5000K HID bulb, but not night and day difference.

By itself the ZL1 headlights look ok. I guess when you bring out the LEDs it’s when you notice the difference.

You can, but the light will not look right, IMO most LED bulbs send light from the side, that does not look right when its in a projector shaped headlight, now GMC has an all LED light in the upper-end 1500 trucks, looks good to.
