same here, waiting on the ME vettes. Hoping for the 5.5 DOHC flat plane crank naturally aspirated engine rated around 600 ponies as an option in a couple years.

Thumbs up

I made a big mistake when I exchanged my dependable '14 Camaro Zl1 for just a nice face Corvette Stingray Z51 which loves to be at the repair shop. For sure I would go back to a 6th gen Camaro SS1LE or Zl1 and keep it as my last sport car, and only let go if the car starts giving me trouble.

I'm not sure. I don't have Automotive ADD. It took a year to decide on the model and options of Camaro. If history shows anything, It'll be in my stable for a while. My truck in 14 years old and my MG has been in the family since 1973.

I told my wife I'd keep it for 3 years and then see what else is out there. I love driving it, I hate that is not very practical. It also makes me drive in a way I shouldn't on the streets...

No plans to sell unless someone offers a good amount of money and I find a ZL1 1LE at the same time for a really good price.

It all depends on the car. My winter beater is a 2004 Volvo S80 T6, the center muffler had internal issues that caused it to get clogged up burst. I didn't use one drop of PB Blaster getting the old exhaust out and putting in a new one. The car is a MN car and has been its whole life. If the engine wasn't so sketchy the body will probably last another 20 years of winter driving.

I tend to keep my cars for a while (I've had my C5Z for 14 years), but I bought my SS 1LE as a stepping stone to my next Corvette or ZL1 1LE track-day toy.

I want to see where GM is going with the new C8. I fully expect it will outperform anything from Porsche and to be extremely competitive with Ferrari and McLaren. Obviously the ZR1 already is, so this shouldn't be a huge stretch. If they also keep it financially accessible to their current customer base, that's where I might end up.

Having said that, the bang for the buck on this car is phenomenal, I love it so far, and I can't wait to get on track in the spring.

I have no plans of selling mine at all, last car I bought under my Dad's GM discount before he passed away. It was going to be a project car for us before he passed.

If it gets totaled out then it would get replaced with a ZL1.

Although I've only logged 509 miles on my '18 Hyper Blue 2SS/1LE, I can tell you it's a KEEPER! It's (hands down) the best Camaro or Firebird (out of 8) I've owned.

My Orange Blast SS Sedan likely is the best (overall) car I've owned, so it also is a KEEPER. Given my love for & satisfaction with both cars, I had my garage floor coated in blue & orange epoxy!

I plan on keeping my '18 1SS 1LE for a very long time, if not forever. Only changes I'll make to my garage are different daily driver cars and I'd like to be able to add a black or red '68 Z/28 RS one day.
