On a lighter note. I think the weather still looks clear for tonight. I will be VERY tempted to try my first burnout with this car tonight....but the tires are $1600 to replace so I will probably resist.

Stop 1600$. Lol you only have to replace the rears. Plus 65k+ car tires are nothing. Jk. My buddy has a c7 yellow one also, he can put the rubber down easy with a manual. You will do fine.

If ya can't pay don't play If you can afford a $60k car, you should be able to afford basic maintenance, good thing you didn't get the Z06, brakes alone are north of $10k per brake job!

We are very concerned about the higher than normal instances of stubbed toes this summer. According to statistics Canada reported stubbed toe injuries are up 70% this year!

I can definitely afford to play, don't let my age fool you. But I work extremely hard for my money and don't want to throw away $1600 in one night. I'm also buying a house down in Texas in a couple years so I'd rather have that $1600 for better furniture, appliances, etc..

I wish! I have a Z51 that uses Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Unfortunately they go for exactly $1604.98 after shipping. Between the cost of new tires and how many kids were running around the street today, I decided to play it safe. I had a great time at Americar and got to see a lot of Upstate C5 members.
