Wheels, Tires, Tire Rack and my Capital One Card
I recently added the Capital One shopping app to my Chrome browser. Later, I was looking at some new wheels and tires at Tire Rack. A day or two later Capital One emailed me a 30% cash back offer at Tire Rack. I activated the offer, went to TR and added a wheel/tire package to the cart, and sure enough the 30% offer popped up.
Hope this helps some of you!

You know the Capital One shopping app and other apps like it are essentially a key logger. I ran from it after reading the fine print

This. When you add extensions and such to your web browsers, you have no idea what they're doing in the back ground. Much like the insurance companies wanting to install a device to track your driving habit, the money savings isn't worth it.

They can't send you offers if they can't see what you're shopping for.
If you don't want people to see what you're looking at, then you have to use VPN. This is internet 101... I'll take that $800 I got thank you very much, but to each their own.
