Shipping a SS rear diff cost help

Hi there, I found a good deal on a 1LE diff with the 3.91 gears. Its in TX and I am in Maine. Any idea on size and weight of this so I can figure out shipping. Any help would be great.

let me search for the tracking number and enter it into UPS' tracking system and see if it gives me the weight. Mine was a Z28 diff but i think the weight is basically the same as the 1LE

I think the weight is around 75lbs. Don't remember where mine was sent from, but I live in Kansas so it didn't go more than halfway across the country. As the buyer I didn't see an exact total, but believe he said it was around $100 to ship it to me.

I know people that have used Fastenal for shipping items. Shipping cost was very reasonable.

I’ve used them before, basically they’ll load stuff on there not completely full trucks and ship it across the country, only select stores will do it but it is a very cost friendly way of getting big/heavy stuff across the us. I shipped some partial frame rails from a 67 c10 across the country for like 50 bucks.

I have used Fastenal several times. Really nice for large items, engines, trans etc. They will also ship smaller items. You can get a quote by going to, https://www.fastenal.com/en/22/3pl-t...arty-logistics and entering the ship from zip and the receiving zip. Really nice part is the shipment can be paid by the shipper or receiver.

Good luck
Craig
