Lightweight front crash bar with integrated tow hook

SOLD............

This is off my Z28, saved over 20lbs off the front of car. Weighs about 15 lbs. vs the OEM crash bar which is around 40lbs.

Would fit any 5th Gen.
Not sure if the tow hook would line up with a ZL1 or other Camaro model, but can be removed if not needed.

If for a Z28 it includes the tow hook cover that is trimmed perfectly to fit for a clean install.

Tow hook is from Rennline.

$250 shipped

Is this a specific brand or did you make it? Do you know what the actual weight of it? What kind of metal is it?

It was made by Moreno Motorsports back when they made a run of them, from memory I believe it was made with chromo and I don't have a scale, I've been lifting since my teens and feels like a 15lb dumbell.

Sure looks like it would at least fit the 2014-15 ZL1 and 1LE as the lower grill is the same

Stock one weighs around 15 lbs, not 40 lbs.

I was close on the aftermarket bar weight, but a bit off on the OEM bar, sure seemed heavier than 25lbs.

I forgot to note installing this made a big difference in cooling. When you remove the factory crash bar and plastic crash bar cover it opens up a lot of space in front of the radiators.

So you don't need the plastic crash reenforcement, so how does the it support the front end?
