Trailer options

I’m wanting an enclosed trailer for my 18 zl1. My question is does the 8.5 ft wide trailer allow door to be opened inside. I want an enclosed but don’t wanna crawl in and out the door. The only ones I find with the escape door is very expensive seems like.

Depends how skinny and flexible you are. I have a 24' Intech with side access door. The side door makes it so much easier to load and exit the vehicle without any threat to vehicle damage.

I doubt very seriously if you are going to be able to get out of the car without a door on the side of the trailer... here is what I am using, not cheap though.

I can but it is difficult crawling out the window. One more pound and I wont be able to do it! Once I put my race seats in I think it will be impossible.

I am definitely getting a trailer with a side door soon.

Nice trailer one of the best out there, but at $28K thats to much for me, so i made my own side door setup not as nice as yours but i am in for 7K and thats fine for me.

That door access trailer is the ticket! The sheet metal on these cars is so thin, they dent too easy. Trying to climb out the window would dent the crap out of the panels you would touch.

I have a 24' V nose without a side door. I am 220 lbs 5' 10" and I open my door to a piece of carpet on the interior of the trailer wall, put the driver window down, and recline the drivers seat all the way. My doors open ABOVE the trailers interior wheel wells. I installed e-track on the floor and use straps around all 4 wheels. It is tight but I have not damaged any panels on the car. This is not an exit like in an open parking lot but is doable. Doing this since June of 2017.

I plan to just use a winch to get the car in.

Got a trailer with double doors, then cut out the wheel wells on the drivers side, put in 4 locks to hold it in place, here is what it looks like when done.
