Lol. Reminds me of R Kelly. When he was asked if he liked teenage girls. He answered “how old are we talking about.”

No problem as long as it's dry. They'll just take a bit longer to get up to temp. I found their happy zone is 160-190°F.

Just be careful in the early sessions. I've gone out on track with temps in the 40s at Firebird (now Wildhorse) in the morning sessions, and temps will probably be similar at any of the Phoenix area tracks. It'll be sketchy until things start to warm up. Which events are you attending? We'll be at Wildhorse West in two weeks with ProAuto. |

Michelin PS4S will work reasonably well for tracking in cool temps. It is not a "track" tire per se, but it is used by a lot of people at the track and is OEM on a lot of supercars. It builds tire pressure faster than the GY's, so keep an eye on pressures. It also doesn't take long to heat up and be sticky like the GY's.

Ofer, another to consider is the Bridgestone S007A.

I ran G3R's at 40F air and 46F track. Took 3 laps to not be sideways all the time on 3.1-mile track. By about lap 5 or 6, they were close to normal, but, never warmed up quite enough to be all out. I still would not wanted to be on my MPSS's. I would have put my G3's on the car if colder than what I ran in. My son ran G3's the day before in similar conditions. They got decent a lap or two earlier.

The trofeos from the Z/28 warm up quicker than the 3Rs but they are outrageously expensive right now.
