it shouldn't rub.. only 6mm taller..

A 305/30/20 is at 27.2 inches (Which doesn't rub).. If a 305/35/20 at 28.41 inches rub the wire harness, a 305/30/21 roughly at 28.44 inches will def create a hole and mess up the harness.

it has a lot to do with tire diameter and the bulk of the side wall. You have to factor both things in. A tire will bulge depending on its width and the wheel width.

Is this still an issue with 2021? Just ordered new wheels/tires and wondering if it's something I need to do before they come in

Considering ZL1 1LE's come with 325 rears stock, but yes doing the wiring harness tuck is a good idea. I was running 355 rears for a while and needed to tuck the harness.
