Just talk to Ted on the best route to go. I have worked with him on and off for years and that man has plethora of knowledge.
If I was you I would buy your own MPVi2 from him and learn how to change your tunes through HP tuners. Very simple. Have him do a 93 and then what ever race fuel you guys agree on.

I run e40 and it’s about 35+rwhp. Somewhere around 23 degrees total timing. E40 should be about 98 octane.

I have a holly 12-170 pump w/check valve. The cordes system looks ok, looks pretty much like the dsx system which uses a walbro pump.

Do you remember what Lambda you were at? My guess low if the PW was that high.

The thing you want to avoid is Leaded fuel. I personally like Cam 2 GT100 unleaded, its not to high not to low it's just right LOL The compression is too low to run very high octane fuels. Feel free to call to discuss your goals. Ted.

The system features a Bosch 044 pump which flows better than the Walboro 255. It also has a aeromotive fuel pressure regulator and a return line. The return flows back to the feed which if plumbed correctly can minimize momentary fuel starvation when under high g’s. The regulator system also minimizes any tuning issues to compensate for when the pump turns on. You can tune for it but better if you don’t have to. I am not necessarily a fan of the electronic box they use to trigger it. Cordes trigger is less elegant but kept it simple. |
