Foam, rinse off dirt, soap, rinse, soap, wash, dry. It's pretty durable stuff.

On my ‘22 I use a duster then a damp micro fiber towel with just water. Follow up with Chemical Guys Matte Detail spray. No issues. Did the same on my 2014 and that wrap looked new the day I sold it.

I bucket wash and dry with a Master Blaster. I then wipe the hood, mirrors and rear spoiler with Meticulous Matte.

My Hot Wheels matte stripes would get temporary water spots when left to dry after a rain. Wiping with Meticulous Matte eliminated that problem.

A Master Blaster is a must given all the crevices in the grill design.

soap & water only

best thing i did for the appearance of the hood was replace the factory installed wrap with 3m satin black.

i've tried every "matte" detailer available, i did not find one that didn't have its own set of issues. soap & water only now with the aftermarket wrap always looks good.

on my 13 1LE hood, Ive always used soap and water. If I had spots Id use detail spray with a microfiber. If the spots still didnt come out I used APC with a micro fiber.

I had someone put a coffee cake on my hood while it was raining and had cake and goop on my hood left over. It came out with those methods.

Maintenance wise, every 6 months or so Ill put Adams VRT on a microfiber applicator and then wipe it down with a microfiber to get it even.

Just detailed my 22 1LE and hit it with some APC because it had some stuff on it from transport and then hit it with VRT.

Same here, the hood has some interesting lines without the dull wrap and looks better IMHO, YMMV. If I was ever to replace it it would be in satin black.

Exactly! Especially on the darker colors! Mine is Shadow Gray.

I spray wash my car and wipe it off with towels. Occasionally apply cleaning wax to rear areas to get rid of fuel haze. Vacuum once a month, maybe. That's it.

Was it a DIY project? Or did you have a shop take it off? If you took it off, was it hard to get off??

Thanks.......

I've waxed mine a few times, which made it more gloss than matte.
