Stabilitrac Holding Me Back

Any of you guys with big power figured a way around the Stabilitrac "Limp Mode"?

I have 600rwhp on my 2017 Camaro SS/8 speed auto, and it spins the tires in 4th gear at 60mph but now I'm data logging in 5th and even though I have turned off Traction Control and Stabilitrac I'm still going into Limp Mode with Stabilitrac showing.
I talked to Kyle at Goat Rope Garage and he said his Silverado did it too bacause I'm pushing more power that the platform will accept. He said to get around it he tapped into the left front speed sensor harness and put a toggle switch in.

I had a 2006 Dodge Magnum and I put a switch on the module in the console that measured g forces and it worked perfect.

I know there are plenty of 6th gen Camaros out there pushing way more HP than I am. So how do you completely turn off Stabilitrac so you don't go into limp mode???

Where is the sensor located for Stabilitrac/g force is does it use math and thge wheel speed sensors??

Stabilitrak issues are typically related to tire size being over a 1” difference between front and rear. How exactly are you disabling T/C and stabiltrak? Also, when did this start? Immediately after adding the supercharger or just out of the blue?

I have tried just pushing it twice and both lights come on or holding it for 13 seconds and they both come on with "Off" under the stabilitrac squigly symble.

It started after I finally got enough timing in that 4th gear would just spin so I had to data log in 5th. Apparently what I heard is the car is accelerating faster than the computer can accept.

Something is definitely off. There a ton of people faster than both of us...I don't have an issue and I haven't read anything on here regarding the fast guys having the issue either. I just push the T/C button once. Even when I do spin, I don't go into limp mode...and I've spun plenty on both 26" and 28.5" tires.

Does it display "Service Stabilitrak" when it goes into limp mode?
Do you have a throttle controller? Heard they can get weird.

No issues here. I disagree with the Goat Rope guy… 600 WHP is hardly “too much for the platform”. You need to get a knowledgeable tuner to check out your tune.

There is a place, in HPTuners software, under Torque Management called Traction Control Method to control torque. I'm putting out 650lbs/ft but the number there is like 485. I'm going to try to raise it to 650 and see if the problem goes away.

Mines at 6,042
"enable temp" just above "max torque" is 493.

Is there a reason you want to disable Stabilitrack? Stabilitrack doesn't need to be disabled even at that power level and really at any power level. Even when you hold the button down to disable it, that isn't doing much, I still think it will kick on say on the highway if you get out of control, which to me is a smart thing. Think about breaking traction at 70 mph and going sideways is not a good feeling.

To me Stabilitrack is unobtrusive at lower speeds which is fine, but when you start getting to highway speeds to me its a good thing, its possible to take a stock SS car and in the right cold conditions spin the rear tires at 60 or 70 and the LSD kicks in the car will go sideways at that speed. I obviously don't want to experiment with it under those conditions but I highly doubt, even if they know about the 10 second hold down, GM would allow any person to do that and crash.

Do you have logs of your torque control source PIDs in the scanner?

I'm trying to disable it because it keeps throwing me into limp mode. No I haven't put a pid in to log torque control but it is showing torque at 668 or something like that. When I ran it on the dyno it put out 655 at 2928rpms.

Don't think that is possible. I think there are places you can change tire diameter, etc. in an effort to fool it. But I don't think you can disable stabilitrak.

Grandpa, your max torque is set at 6042 and enable temp is at 493?
