Just another build thread.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has answered all my questions, and helped me steer to the right direction. I was contemplating on going ESS, AGP, but there were a lot of other additional parts/variables that needed to be added. This resulted in me selecting the tried and true ECS S/C. Any who, I’m super excited to get this thing finally started. Probably the last build on this car, but it sure won’t be the last on my arsenal of current and future cars.

That’s good. First shop that’s actually really close to me. All the other ones I’ve gone to, have been 2-3 hours away.

I opted not to do meth... for now. I’m going to get some coilovers, tires, and monster clutch

I was kinda being a smart ass. If i remember correct your goal was 800whp.

I think you will have to spin that blower pretty hard, which will make iats hot, and then require meth. You might be right on the border. Good luck to you buddy, I wish you well.

I won't be surprised if you're upgrading blowers in a year though, lol.

Thanks. I was surprised with cost, and all the other stuff they offered. Pretty straight forward also.

Good luck! Should not be a problem making that goal. I am glad I know what I am doing. Shop prices are crazy with big builds.

I'm with you. I've got a bad back and don't want to work on shit anymore... but with the labor costs at $125/hr... i suck it up and do it myself for just about everything.

Yeah. Some shop labor prices are crazy, and I’ve seen some of them nickel and dime everything. I remember a shop wanting to charge me 150$ to remove and install a CAI for my cam build. Mines at 1950$. Not bad I think considering it includes 93/e85 dyno tune, Flex fuel sensor install, aux pump install, S/C install, and gauge/pillar install.
