What nation is mining the lithium, creating and building the batteries?

Just a VERY simple and condensed answer to energy waves and if they have the ability to case cancer: x-rays and gamma rays cause cancer. Gamma rays and x-rays mostly come from medical and laboratory machines and have special built-in shielding to greatly diminish radiation so it is safe for living creatures to be around.

EMF happen mostly in the 3kHz to 300GHz range. X-rays happen in the 10 to the 16th power to 10 to the 20th power Hz. Gamma rays happen 10 to the 19th power Hz. So, I doubt the batteries in a car or in your cell phone have the storage capacity to even create gamma rays and x-rays and still work for hours and hours a day.
