With the current state of the industry I would bet Money this is pretty accurate.
Just some badges, special color etc and that’s about it. It would have been hard enough to get them to justify some special motor mods etc even in a non pandemic market imo.
A lot more red tape involved (emissions testing) than just throwing in a diff motor/blower etc. unfortunately. I’m not saying it can’t be done It just seems far fetched they would for this car at this time.

They cite their two sources for this as Lethal Camaro and Muscle Cars and Trucks - neither of which are strangers to posting about unsubstantiated rumors that turn out to be untrue. Seems like another case of trying to generate clicks with online articles that they can always point to later when it doesn’t happen and claim “we did say it was just a rumor.”

In other words - don’t believe it until GM themselves say it.

Ya... I'm a Harley guy too and even though Harley isn't coming to an end like the Camaro, trying to speculate what Harley is going to do every year is impossible. They don't let things leak. I won't believe anything I read about the end of the Camaro speculation until I read it straight from a GM source.

i believe the will be a gen 7,but im thinking electric.GM claims 30 EVs by 2025 so that is possible.but no four doors please...

How can anybody say what GM is going to do. When from week to week they don't know. Look at the 2 to 3 month a magazine needs to get to press. It's old before we ever see it. Hope everybody had a great turkey day.
