Driveshaft/axles.
Should I upgrade my driveshaft/axles on a 1000-1200whp street duty car?
Car will be used for roll racing, and maybe Mexico… NO launching.

I would keep the factory 2pc driveshaft. It has a higher critical speed and thus safer at higher rpms. I kept mine.
I would also keep the stock axles. Roll racing doesn't break axles. Dig racing and wheel hop does. Plus axles are cheap compard to grenading a trans or diff.

That’s what I was thinking since the drive lines not trying to move this fat pig from a dead stop.

tire choice will be a big factor. If tires are spinning they are also limiting the stress on the driveline. I didnt have driveline issues until i started running street slicks.

I gave my stock DS everything it had with no issues. I would stick with stock axles as long as you have the stock carrier. Let those break before you destroy the diff. If you go up to a TruTrac, 1000hp or Renegades would be my choice.
