Window Sticker
What's the proper way to retain and preserve your cars original sticker. I was considering taking it and having it laminated.

I keep detailed records on every vehicle I own. I was just curious if there was preferred way to keep the window sticker among collector.

Mine is folded in half and in the small storage compartment in the back.

I just fold it in half and put it in a clear plastic holder then in a 3 ring binder where I keep all of the cars paperwork, i.e. receipts, maintenance records, accessories purchased, etc. I have a separate binder for each of my vehicles. I also keep an Excel spreadsheet on the computer.

Many collect & do the the same... absolutely nothing silly or wrong with doing so. You can laminate it if you want which will perfectly preserve it. I have my window sticker and build sheets flat and stacked away along with the C7 brochure and (somewhat rare) C7 color chip/swatch pamphlet. If you don't want to fold the window sticker, you can also keep it rolled up intact with a rubber band around it or keep inside a poster tube.

The NCM sells window stickers for your car that are laminated. I got one for shows (for the 95 ZR-1) and keep the original in a file. You can also get tank stickers. --Bob
