Yeah wheel wights are nothing new, people are just trying to find anything to nit pick about on the Camaro it seems. But brake caliper wights are not so I see the issue there.

That is not an unusual amount of weight. Also, because those weights are stuck on the wheel 1 inch or more from the outside of the rim, more weight is required.

guess i got lucky i have i have 3 on the front right rim 4 on the front left rim, 5 on the rear right rim and 3 on the rear left rim.

The weights appear to be placed right where the valve stem is in the last picture. That tire should be unseated, rotated 180 clock/counter-wise and rebalanced.
