Anyone know the approach angle in degrees with lowering springs installed?

Well DMGINC Since you dont actually own a camaro I wouldnt expect you to have an answer. Actually trying to put lowering springs on without ripping half the front off when taking it off the lift and Wheel allignment machine

I understand what you mean. I am putting on ground effects on my camaro, but I am worried about pulling in and out of my drive way since it is at an angle. Guess only one way to find out. My DD impala scrapes a little bit on the drive way, but if I take it slow, it won't scrape.

put your car in the driveway at a point where it comes closest to the ground, take a tape measure and see what kind of clearance you have. no one can answer this for you as all driveways are different as well as transitions from the street to the driveway are different.

having a Camaro has nothing to do with it, all cars that are low to the ground have this issue with some driveways.

Rberns I know what your saying . Fortunately I dont have any problem with driveway. Once I get the lowering kit on and I do I will rip up the driveway to be convenient to my car . Problem I have is the Allignment lift at the dealership. Im close with the service dept. and service manager . His concern is once the car is on the lift and springs are installed is whether the car will come back off without scraping. He said the VETTES are super close but will make it. So I guess another ? is whether the camaro with the lowering springs are as low or lower than the VETTE

what lowering springs are you going with? how much are they going to lower your car? if they will lower it 1" then put your car on the lift and take a measurement. there are a variety of lowering springs out there and there are other factors as well, no one can just give you the answer without you giving any specifics.

The lowering springs came from SLP. They lower 1 inch in front and rear

I've got the Eibach sport springs (1.25" drop) and the factory GFX kit. On very steep transfers, I drag the bottom flap, but not the GFX themselves. I've got enough clearance to still park over a 3" curb without touching anything.

Hope that helps.

I have h& r springs, about a 1.4 drop( have rs wheels).. Sometimes over the tall speed bumps, It hits the chasis once I pass with the front 2 tires. Other than that, no problems. If i look under the car, my mufflers and high flow cats seems really close to the floor but I always check for damage, none so far

We use some appropriately sized wooden planks to bridge the angle difference between the trailer and ground when we drive our race cars on/off the trailers. It will be ok, just as long as they are aware of the potential situation!

I bet there are plenty of people with horror stories however...
