Transmission flush is done..

All I can say is wow. This car feels way different in shifting and driving. It seems like the throttle response is quicker and everything seems smoother. I hope this is the fix for it.

I’m constantly looking at the transmissions forums waiting to hear back about this new flush! Haven’t heard if this is the real fix or it’s just another bandaid fix. Fingers crossed this is the fix and we can be done!

I have a little over a thousand miles after the flush. It got a lot better! Shifting is so sharp. It got better over time for sure.

Assume you are talking about the flush with Mobil 1 Synthetic LV ATF HP 19417577 per TSB Bulletin 18-NA-355?

Correct. I dropped the car off Tuesday at 4 PM and picked up yesterday at 5 PM. They told me to give it at least 200 miles to see if it got better. I instantly noticed the difference in how it shifts and responds. I hope this is the final fix. Only time will tell tho.

I need to ask them about the retune as it wasn't written on the service ticket.

I'm almost positive it isn't a retune, they do however have to put it into relearn mode after any work or flush.

I did the flush earlier this week and so far it's feeling a lot better. Good to hear that it is going to get better with time!

Now if I could only buy an exhaust system that actually gets delivered I'll be good. 2 systems paid for, none delivered. First place refunded our money because he couldn't ship an open box, i understand that. Now today we find out that the second place that said 3 to 7 business days is actually over a month away. Fml.

Gotta go with reputable dealers. Lots here on the forum.

Yeah I'm definitely going to from now on. I'm going to hold off and save for a better system. Maybe borla. We will see.

I had mine done, per the latest TSB a few weeks ago. They did not reprogram TCM. Other than the lack of shuddering i haven't noticed any difference in shifting. I also hope that the flush will cure the problem.
