MY87Z28, thank you so much for your service and the reminder to buckle up.
Whether to car reminds or not, it has become second nature for me. As one that got
T-boned by a caprice wagon and my only injury was a seat belt burn on my neck.

Many of the dealerships will fix recalls regardless what the owner wants, if they have the part in stock and have a scheduled appointment for the car (Oil, Brakes, Body work...). Otherwise they are liable for working on the car and not fixing the known recall.

On my 2011 SS Vert I had some curb rash (Previous owner, hit curbs) on the wheels fixed (Under warranty) They fixed the recall for the Vert Top and the Bolt in the seat that tends to break under hard forces. They handed me the keys and said we fixed 2 recalls you had.

Although if it was me, I would not care for the chime for the seat belt.
I try to always wear it, but we all know that does not always get done.

Emergency Services wont go any where, they can't get robots to do our job, at least not yet, and accidents account for maybe 5% of our call volume.

You speak with sarcasm but until you've seen and dealt with it first hand, you have no clue the effect things like this have on your life. Humans aren't suppose to see those kinds of things, once you do, you can't unsee them. It's easy to talk a big game, until you actually see real trauma.

You can go to www.recalls.gm.com, and type in your VIN to see if you are affected, mine is not. Again only a very small number anyway.

Thank you for the link!!! I got nothin as well.

Does that cover service bulletins as well or do they have to be actual recalls? Replacing the NPP if rattling is an issue, infotainment upgrade etc weren't classified as recalls, just as service bulletins so I am just curious haha.
