My 2010 Camaro has 5% on the back window and 20% on the sides, the 20% on the sides can be seen through which I did not want, so I want to change just my door windows to 5% and I called my tint place to see how much it would be to change the door windows from 20% to 5% and they gave me the price of $100.00 to do this, does this sound like a good price?

Not a bad price, but tint that dark usually gets the cops attention.

I have 20% on mine, then I put another layer of 20% on top of it, and is now 5%.
Never been ticketed in my camaro for too dark of windows.

Its pretty easy to tint these windows, since there is no frame to the top of the window.

I wanted to put tint over the tint, but they said that can't be done?

Where do you get your car tinted. Sound FX in warwick?

Sunset Tint in Cranston, they are awesome and did a real nice job, I wish i had went with 5% from the start.

How much did they charge you? I traded in my LT for an SS. I am looking to get this one tinted. But Sound FX charges a little pricey. How much did they charge you?

Good luck driving at night. That's way too dark for night driving, and if you ever do get in a wreck and hurt someone, expect that to become a legal issue.

Wish I had 20% but 35% here in NC is the legal tint and the local LEO's here pull for tint. I paid $240 for my 5 windows.. Damn, need to come north for tint next time.. Good Luck Joe.

They're full of it. We tint over existing tint all the time at our shop. The only time we are hesitant on doing it is if we werent the orignal shop to tint the car bc we cant offer a lifetime warranty on it bc if the original tint starts to peel or bubble it would make the 2nd layer do it as well. $100 isnt too bad. For a rip and re-tint for 2 doors we charge $80 or $60 if you just wanted us to go over the original layer. To make it 5%, I would add a 15% instead of a 20% though

I paid $130 for all 5 windows to be tinted at 20%...I think that you should be paying no more than $65 for just two windows!!! A co worker of mine has 5% on his windows and says that he has to let the windows down at night just to see, so you might want to take this into consideration. I was definitely considering the 5%. I like the 20% on mine, but you can see inside just a tad bit during the day from a certain distance. Good Luck!!!

I have 15% on my camaro on all windows and never got pulled I live in nc where the tint legal limit is 35% I had 5% on my jeep and I'm not going to lie it sucked driving at night you can't see where your going at some points

$230.00 for 5% on the back window and 20% on the four side windows.
