New SS owner checking in
Long time lurker here. Was the proud owner of 2 Gen5s (both 1LSs). Yesterday after many months of reading and debating I finally took the 6th Gen plunge! 1SS 1LE in Garnet Red. I was pretty much dead set on hyper blue, but this color kept growing on me and I couldn't pass up the deal that was being offered. I'm very excited and love the ss. Completely different animal than the LFX platform.
A couple of pictures. I'll get some better ones after work today! Thanks for all who contribute to this forum that aided and abetted my decision!

very nice ride. i almost got the exact same car but went with summit white. only thing that bothers my OCD is that all the black on car does not match. i am peeling off the hoodwrap and painting the hood satin black to match the splitter, spoiler and mirrors.

When you say great deal you couldn't refuse would you mind me asking in the ballpark of your numbers? Reason I ask is I myself will be purchasing my first camaro in about 1-2 months and I'm looking for a 1LE. |

They had them listed at $41,946. That price was much lower than most of the other places I'd seen. I kept my searching for about 2 months, I saw a couple for $40,500 but most were over $44,000. Less the rebate I got mine for $39,446 (not including taxes). Koons Tysons (Tysons Corner, VA) is where I got it.
