Another idea: make just the "insert portion" of the hood so that it can bolted on a ZL1 metal hood . It would be a great seller.

I asked about it at the fest and was told a tray similar to the one used with the ZL1hood would be used to divert water to the side of the engine.

We have a much larger opening than the stock hood, so I couldn't do this same insert.

Nothing being dodged....

The race hoods will be open, because we are focusing on cooling and downforce first and foremost.

There was a lot of talk about this at the show and we will be doing a 'glass version and water tray options for both carbon and 'glass.

We have ran the race cars for years, in dry and wet conditions. While your driving all of the water is going to exit the openings. Once it stops, yes it is going to fall down and exit under the car. All of the connections are sealed and we have never had an issue with it.
