Wheel offset Experts
I have a set of signature wheels 21x9.5 ET25 offset front with 275/35r21 and 21x11.5 ET40 offset with 325/30r21 PS4's rear that I had on my Tesla plaid for a very short time befor selling it and I kept the wheels.I want to put them on my 2010 SS Camaro the bolt circle is the same but the hub center is smaller so I would have to have that machined out to get them on the car but before I do that I wanted to make sure those offsets will work.
I currently have CCW's on the Camaro I put on it back in 2010 so I don't remember the offsets but they are 11" wide rear with 315/35R20's on it now. |

Personally me, I wouldn't put them on your Camaro. First reason is the fact that 21 inch tires are kind of hard to come by anymore and the ones you need for the Camaro are going to be pretty expensive! That's why most people are staying with 20's, or 19's. They are a lot easier to choose from and you can get great tires affordably. Secondly, the fact that you need to machine the back of the wheel to make it fit your Camaro's hub, you're taking material off of the mounting pad that just might compromise the strength and integrity and safety of the wheel. The offsets should work, but I wouldn't do it. I would sell the wheels and tires from the Tesla and put the monet towards the CORRECT wheels for your year and model Camaro. Be safe and do it right. Just my .02..
