Dodge claimed 0-60 3.7sec, 1/4 mile 11.0 @ 122.7mph.

M/T got the 60 mph but lost 0.8 sec on the 1/4 with a 1.6mph difference trap speed.

Also locked ECU or not the car is already capable of 11:00s on stock rubber, add a quality DR to it and 10:60s-10:80s should be there.
Kidding aside,both Hellcats are beautiful, extremely fast cars. The rub for me has been that the initial performance claims are absurd. The numbers will be achieved but they are the hero runs... IMO

Dodge claims the Charger Hellcat can run the quarter mile in 11.0 seconds flat. Although that might be possible on a specially prepped dragstrip, our testing is done on a street-style surface.
After the Challenger Hellcat debacle they were very very quick to point out they did their tests on street type surfaces.

Based on the 60 mph, traction did not appear to be a problem for M/T. Maybe it's the final emission tweaks that were done to the Red Key tune.?.?

They didn't list the 60 foot time. 0-60 time yes, but not 60 foot.

They openly said traction WAS an issue for them

Correct. Knew that but came out wrong. My bad. So M/T achieved the 0 - 60 MPH time but traction was a problem. Where?

Stomping the right pedal at a 60-mph roll can easily produce black stripes and smoke as the Hellcat fishtails into ludicrous speeds even with traction control set at its most oppressive setting. At full throttle, the tires chirp on each upshift regardless of transmission setting.
Kind of indicates a traction problem to me. One would presume that a standing start would also suffer from issues

Did any of you really think that the Hellcat would run low 11s on a unprepped street surface, really?

Lets look at the Scatpack/SRT 392s for our example, Dodge claimed low 12-sec times, the mags tested to 12:80s-13:00s, in a very short time, actual owners now have several low 12s with a best of 12:14. Did Dodge lie?

Dodge claims low 11s for the Hellcats. The mags tested 11:40s - 11:90s. I don't know of any actual owner passes at the strip yet but we will soon find out if Dodge lied.

If you want to bash the Hellcat have at it, but I would wait until some actual owners take their cars to the track and get some passes completed. I'm pretty sure that the Scatpack naysayers are looking pretty ill informed now.

The traction management system was competent at limiting power to launch the car to the advertised 0 - 60 so you're saying its reeled in the power above 60 mph. This isn't exactly unexpected, negates having a 707 HP engine and leads to the questions regarding what are the * after the NHRA claims.

* all the old rubber scraped off with 100 percent VHT sprayed the entire length of the track. Sneaker pull off foot test to ensure maximum adhesion.
* Minimum -300 ft DA, after noon, +50 degree F
* 25 MPH tailwind
* -1% grade slope

The 3,880-3,887-pound GT-R models benefit greatly from the added grip of all-wheel drive (and short transmission gearing), indicating that the Hellcat's tires hamper its acceleration numbers

I have been able to walk on a track when it has been prepped for big time events, its insane how sticky it can be lol.

The corrected range of actual times are what has been media-reported, so far.

11.9 is the best mag test for the 6sp so far, so Dodge has claimed all their times were on a prepped track.

One magazine, one time, as I was the first to report on the Challenger thread. As you know, 12's have been a more regular report.
