2023 SS 1LE rear tire wiring harness
From what I understand GM has moved this harness so it's no longer a problem with getting rubbed through with track use on the newer cars is this true or still need to be moved?

I think in some earlier cars it came loose, fell down and wedged itself in the cavity between the liner and sheet metal, and pushed the liner out into the tires of some 1LEs. Happened to my friend's 2020. I presume they've fixed that, but I'm not aware of them actually relocating the harness.

I had to move it on my 2022. I think it may be ok on stock wheels/tires but definitely not if you're going to go wider.
I would just move it if you want to track the car. |

Word from the street is that some cars have not been moved, GM says they moved it, hard to know unless you look at YOUR car, it seems. My ZL1 was EO moved out of the way.

2020 2SS (non-1LE)... Left side rear wheel well...
BEFORE the move: AFTER the move: I went from stock 275/35/20 to 1LE spec 305/30/20 so I knew it wouldn't be an issue but since I had the wheels off either way, I figured the 15 minutes of effort was worth any possible issues later...
