forget if it was this forum, corvetteforums, or the l86 truck forums
but somebody had a catch can freeze on them, it plugged it up, then the blow by had nowhere to go, which pressurized his crankcase and he blew his rear main seal. It was definitely an lt1, l86, or l83 though. Just something to keep in mind for those using them in cold climates. |

Pictures of 8k miles with mishimoto installed
Car had 1000 miles before installing. I do collect a lot of oil in the can, but there is still some valve Coking and visible oil in the intake. The clean side lines are dry inside. The Pcv side lines are very oily, even visible in the picture of the heads.

I have 23000 miles on my Mishimoto Catch Can and I saved all the oil in a water bottle. I have 10 ounces of oil/fluid (black in color) in the 12 ounce water bottle.
