Condensation on the inside of the lense of my Gauge Cluster

So my Gauge Cluster lense is full of water spots. At first I thought it was on the outside of the lense and I tried to clean it with glass cleaner. Absolutely nothing changed. Went over it 3 - 4 times and it's still exactly the same.

Should bumper to bumper cover this?

Wow Need4, never seen anything like that before! Very strange and yes I would think it is covered under your warranty since yours is a 2017.

That looks horrible, but yes, it's supposed to be sealed and is a single unit, it should be covered by bumper to bumper warranty.

Can you feel it on the outside, like with your fingernail? Maybe some chemical or cleaner got sprayed up there that etched it?

I'll try this when I next go outside. I scheduled an appointment with the dealer as well.

If its etched, is it possible to fix it? I only just noticed this today, we had a pretty bad rain storm here in Austin last night but Im baffled how my gauge cluster could have been effected by it if it was.

If it doesn't go away once the temp in your cabin changes, it's probably not condensation. Take it to the dealership and see what they say.

Went outside, ran my finger across. The plastic feels smooth to me. Tried scratching with my finger nail, no changes nor do I feel any difference.

When you sprayed stuff on it did it soon different or could you see the spot through the liquid. If it looked different, it may be like a scratch on the paint when it gets wet.

Possibly a leak around the windshield let some water in? Was the car out in the rain?

Sorry for the long delay on this. I havent had much free time lately. The dealership says that the lense is etched by armorall or some plastic protectant. I use 303 protectant and I usually only spray the rag and dont remember seeing this when used it last on the dash. When I run my fingers across it I feel no difference. When I scratch at it, nothing absolves or comes off. If it is etched how do I fix this or do I need a whole new gauge cluster?

You can try polishing it, like a similar procedure to plastic headlight repair. Try polishing first, if it doesn't work then you will have to sand it down with a 2500 grit or finer, then polish. If you're not mechanically inclined then find someone who's done it before cause it can definitely get worse. If you do decide to do it, make sure you mask the surrounding area so you don't accidentally scratch other things. Good luck.
