Thought I'd post up the new wheels. Currently have 15x14s on the car and they stick so far under it was time to fill the rest of the tub out with these 16x16s.

Current tire is a 32x14.5w
Going with a 33x17x16

Will gain 4" of tread on the ground total. In the pic you can see how much more room i have for tire

I have never seen a reference pic with a hand on a drag wheel like that....WOW!!!

Thanks guys! still getting a handle on this new motor. Hasn't been as fast as the sbe 6.0 yet but its right there. Its been 1.1x sixty foot, hoping to see some 1.09s next season!

I'll throw a pic of of the 2 wheels side by side when I get tires mounted

Yes sir! Its on the list! A 5" cowl would take some trimming even unfortunately

With as much as you've carved that thing up, if you posted tomorrow you were converting it to a mid-engine setup I wouldn't be surprised lol. This has been a very interesting build! Following along as always
