Exhaust
Wife has a 2017 ZL1, she hates how quite the exhaust is. So she is wanting a deep throaty exhaust, sorta old school deep. What’s everyone suggest? She likes the way my 2013 ZL1 sounds but doesn’t want to go crazy like I did. I have headers, H pipe and stock mufflers and it is what she’s wanting. But she doesn’t want to go catless.

Corsa sounds great but I would definitely say it isn’t a deep old school tone. It’s more high pithed raspy exotic sounding IMO.

Borla valve issues are solved, I have their ZL1 specific S catback. It sounds good. Loud enough where you don't need headers loud but I assume with headers it wouldn't blow you out of the cabin.

Why can't you install the Valveless Borla like the Corsa has if your worried?

Last time I looked at Corsa catback for the ZL1, it was not 3". Otherwise I'd probably be running it right now. Currently I am waiting on the Zl1 system with carbon tips.

Didn't know they had a cat back.. we put Axel Back on my friends ZL1 1LE this weekend. they sent 3 wrong clamps and 1 correct clamp in the kit,
Sounded fairly good.. I'm After Atak and carbon tips I'm gonna call Borla and see if they can have something..

They don't sell it all in one for some reason. But they do offer a midpipe that can be purchased separately to create a catback. At least that's what I recall.
