Eagle F1 question

The Eagle F1 G:2 are right and left thread pattern. What would happen if put 2 lefts in the rear.

One tire would be running with the tread pattern backwards

The car would move in continuous circles. You'd never be able to go anywhere.

Nothing a catch can or two would not fix!

PS: I add this to negate my smart assed remark. I keep a tire as an emergency spare. I can not tell you if it is a right or a left because it would not matter. As others have said, performance will be reduced (most likely to be noticed in wet weather conditions), but to get around until a new proper side tire can be purchased and installed, you will be just fine.

Well, assuming you're question is seriously being asked, you'd probably not notice too much in handling unless you drove the car at the tires limit. The tires tread design was developed with directional stability, grip and the need to shed water from under it occasionally. If you're running it the opposite of it's intended direction, I'm sure you understand that negates what the designers intended. For a short period of time, if you're strapped for cash, you're not gonna damage anything. I wouldn't recommend it for any other reason.

The tire installed incorrectly will wear out faster and by looking at the thread pattern and how it draws water from the center ---> out......it would have degraded wet road performance...which is already bad to begin with.
