I would like it much better if they retained the rotary knobs from the stock HVAC system. Not bad, but I still don't like how the screen looks. It's still kinda aftermarket looking.

For those interested, here are some screen shots I took this morning. The first three are of the iDatalink function screens, the remainder are of the Kenwood screens.

I installed this as well. I have pics of mine in the audio section, also have the same SS wallpaper you used. Dont know if you saw, but on the gauges section if you push p2, you can run your 1/4 mile times.

What I like is you can now see the oil pressure gauge without the round fan knob being in the way.

I was checking out all the gauges and like the 1/4 mile and 0-60 gauges and the fact it will keep a history for you. Just swapped out my wall paper for one with the Vegas skyline, didn't like how a lot of 'Camaro SS' was blocked out by things on the screen.

I never did like the big knobs because they blocked my view of the console gauges; now I can see them all clearly with just a glance .. IMO, the iDatalink is a big improvement over the MyLink, both in looks and functionality.

If you go to the cruchfield website and select the stereo you want it will provide you an option for mounting kits, select the iData kit. Everything needed will be included.

If you would like to hardwire one of the USB ports for charging only, you will need to purchase an add-a-fuse kit, 24v-5v USB adaptornand 5'-6' USB cable.

Here are the links to what I purchased:

Stereo & iData kit - https://www.crutchfield.com/p_113DNR...d-DNR476S.html. (You click on the link to see installation gear required to select the iData kit, I also selected the prewire option)

USB power adapter - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1. (I installed the dual because I also ran a charging cable to my phone holder.)

Add-a-fuse - purchased at local Auto Zone, no link

6' USB cable - purchased at local Walmart, no link

That's everything; Crutchfieid does an excellent job of providing everything needed for the basic installation.
