Anyone experience an AMG C43?

No immediate plans to replace my 1LE, but just looking ahead to possibly owning a single year round car. Recently test drove a 2017 Mercedes AMG C43 and I liked a lot about it. Lots of power and torque. Definitely a superb cabin in terms of luxury and quality. Lots of technology.

The most surprising thing to me was the 9-speed automatic transmission. I am a manual guy from Day 1 and still prefer a manual, and in fact have never really learned how to properly drive an automatic with paddle shifting. But I put the car in Sport+ mode, and found that it would generally stay in whatever gear I put it in, and did not upshift as soon as I let off the throttle.

I also liked the rear-bias AWD system. It did feel more like RWD than FWD.

Anyone owned one of these cars or have anything to say about it? How does it compare to an Audi S4 or BMW M340i?
