Factory Five Kits

I now have a lot of free time on my hands so I may have the choice of finding an older car to restore or after seeing a video on YT start on a kit car. The Factory Five kits look relatively priced well with quality too.

Has anyone done a kit car recently? Back in the day they looked more trouble than fun but I assume like everything automotive things have really improved in recent years.

I have a friend that built one of the 818 cars fairly recently. It's really cool. I wasn't around for the build process though. Haven't heard anything negative.

I have a cobalt I can sell you cheap. It's a 2010 with the 2.2L and a manual transmission. Has some body damage to the rear door/ quarter panel but I still daily drive it.

Look up the exomotive Exocet! I’ve wanted to build one for years. They seem like such fun cars

Not going to happen anytime soon. I have to build a new shop building first.
