t4 /t5 splitter from acs is the best camaro splitter on the market, with the amount of abuse i have given to my splitter it should be in pieces scattered amongst the floor but instead it is in amazing condition with out 1 crack chip or broken part, the most damage on the splitter is a little scratch of paint

Thank you for the feedback, ACS spends a lot of time in the R&D department, everything we learn with our OEM work we carry over to the aftermarket...
Our products represent 30 years of composite knowledge and design. Thank you for trusting us. Feel free to share photos of your installs ! Quote:

Installed this last night and the only confusing part is step 8 and 9. 8 Says to put a pressure clip in the center hole you drill but 9 says to put a bolt in it. Figured it was a pressure clip since there were 11 pressure clips and 11 holes drilled but it went on perfectly and I love the look!
Edit: just realized I posted in the wrong one I have the T4 Splitter but the instructions do seem the same.

I just bought this splitter but recv'd only bolts/nuts, not the push pins described above. Has there been a change in the install process? How can the nuts/bolts be installed w/o removing the fascia?

IF I install this, what's the distance between the new splitter and the floor? Is it more likely to get it scratched or damaged due to being it lower to the cement?

ACS states that it doesn't lower the ride height at all, so apparently that is the same. However, it will definitely change your "approach angle" clearance, as the car's chin will jut out further in front of the front wheels, so entering uphill driveways, parking ramps, etc, may cause problems or require you to approach slowly/diagonally to avoid nailing the splitter.

Correct, it wont lower the ride height, however, it will make your car longer...
A small compromise consider the effect ;-) when in doubt simply approach steep slopes at an angle. I have driven the T5 Splitter donw extremely steep underground driveways with no rubbing... and this is also with a lowered car. Quote:

I just got the T5 and had the dealer install with the bolts...took him about an hour to do cost me 45 $$ and i love it..i was really paranoid about front splitter hitting the ground but no worries with the t-5 AT ALL!!!!!
