Not really necessary information in this setting, anyways.

Really? I’d love to see who voted for what.

If you read the threads, most who are interested clearly state how they voted....Most members on this web-site hardly ever post. I'd say that's their business, when and if they post or when or if they vote.

Love my 6speed but the bogging during launch sucks big time. Completely kills power and then wakes up a second later. I would like to know what Settings I need to be in to avoid this nonsense.

I always make my polls private as well. Some may not vote if it's an un-popular selection, but others who don't care will normally post up how they voted.
I think we will get answers on more than one of these anyway...

It's not solely a 6 speed thing. Bog issue resides with the A10 as well.

If the launch control wins, please word the “question” according to the actual area of interest which is the bog....,and NOT about using the launch control feature or how the feature works. It’s obvious both here and in the linked thread nobody cares about what launch rpm to use, or tire slip percent to program, or how that feature works. The members are concerned with the bog, I own an a10 and I genuinely think it’s the biggest problem with the m6 Camaro platform currently.

I suppose I would too...in hopes that it'd help prevent people from creating new accounts to sway the vote. If we could easily see new accounts voting for a particular topic, it'd be pretty clear what's happening.

True, but at least the A10 guys are running almost a full second faster in the 1/4 mile. The guys who bought the M6s ZL1 with hopes of using the car at the track and dragstrip, are simply out of luck on the dragstrip. I get mad every time I hear that this car is a "triple threat". Maybe the A10 is a triple threat, but I assure you nobody worries about lining up at the dragstrip against an M6 ZL1.

Someone who regularly runs an A8 SS at the strip will easily outrun an M6 ZL1 (both stock).

I'm wondering if the "bog" is TM intervening to prevent damage.
Heavy car with a lot of torque can break things, things GM might not want to pay for under warranty.

Why? What would you (or anybody) gain by having that information?

If this was a poll about, say, preferences in wheel design, I probably wouldn't mind letting the way I voted be made public.

For polls that have impact beyond the thread that they are posted in, I'd rather the balloting not be allowed to go public.

FWIW, I have interest on a technical level in all four of this poll's choices. Does it matter which one I voted for this time, or what the reasons were that led me to cast my vote the way I did?

I think it's best the way it is.

Yea right. (insert sarcasm)

That's why the ZL1 A-10 ran a 10.0 in the Quarter Mile with factory parts.

Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Runs a 10-Flat 1/4-mile with the Drag Development Program

The Chevrolet Performance Drag Development Program has turned their attention to the 2017 Camaro ZL1, resulting in a quarter mile time of 10.00 with a long list of fairly standard modifications – all of which could soon be offered through Chevrolet’s aftermarket performance division.
If GM can do this for the 1/4 mile Cars they can eliminate the 1LE M6 Issues.

The larger issue is WHY?

Norm - This is my singular response (as to not detract anymore from the post, but clarify my thought process).
  • I'm not at all concerned about who knows how I poll or what people think. I asked the question because some of the other polls I've seen, tracked this info. I thought it was nice feature, especially being able to see that my vote was counted.
  • As a Camaro owner, I'm interested I all sections of this forum, which I enjoy and learn from. With that said, there are many times when I use the see users posts tool to get a better understanding of others thought processes, especially when their initial post intrigues me (there are some pretty sharp people here... Yes, you are one of those people). Again, from this surfing, I typically learn something new. As well, knowing who posted, how many posts and their activity, allows for a general understanding of how the final polling process materializes between regular users and transients. I'm inquisitive.
  • I have an A8, which I'm not 100% thrilled with, but is probably operating as designed (at least currently). So, I have skin in the game. I'm not certain what the secrecy for others is about, but I do respect their desire to remain anonymous, but have zero comprehension of why... written retribution? I can't imagine that, but that's the only thing that comes to my mind.
  • In the end, you say Tomato I say Tomatoe... that's all it is, nothing more.
