stares are fine it's the people who will stop you randomly to ask questions/chat about the car. I get it and I appreciate them liking the car, but sometimes it's like awww man I ain't got time for this.
But I always put on a smile and take a few minutes to chat with them and answer their questions. Better to be known as that really nice guy in the beautiful car than that uppity jerk who thinks he's awesome just because he drives a Camaro. you never know it may save you from being keyed someday,lol

I never get tired of the attention because typically I think it is coming from people who appreciate cars. If I am in traffic and notice someone looking at my car I just smile and nod my head. Any time someone asks me questions about my car I take the time to be polite. Most positive reactions have come from middle aged people. I get more questions from middle aged women then any other demographic. Must be the Camaro as I am not young and cute, just old and cute (LOL).
One of the best experiences happened one day at the grocery store parking lot when an attractive well dressed middle age women approached and asked what I was driving. She walked around the car and looked at the beige / charcoal interior. I asked if she would like to sit in it and she said yes. After about 10 mins she said this is the car my husband needs but he doesn't know it "yet" and we laughed! I gave her the name of my dealer sales agent and we parted ways. |

There is always someone going apeshit over it.
I bought some carpet cleaner for her today and this guy was checking her out at the back of the parts store parking lot. We talked for a bit, he has a 2010 2LT RS he bought new. It comes with the territory when you buy a hot looking car.

I went to my dealer to check out some touch up paint and as I left, there was a kid in his mom's Impala who have me the thumbs up. Don't know if it was the car or the tire chirp at 50 mph...

I don't mind the attention as long as it civil and polite. I dislike the ones that take pics / videos on the freeway from all angles and then speed off. They never watch where there going.
I am guilty of making eye contact with pretty women tho, no matter what they drive, and i am assuming you are a woman racergirl.. just saying |
