Door Trim Panel Clips
Just thought I would share the following. I recently changed some of my door trim and in the process of removing the door trim panels some of the plastic retaining clips were broken (they are wimpy plastic and not meant for removal and replacement in my opinion). I went to the local dealer and they offered me the bargain price of $6/clip and if I recall there are about 10 per door panel. Now I didn't need to replace all of them but I wasn't about to pay $6/clip either. So after a lot of searching part numbers I found the correct parts at LB Auto Parts Distributors, Inc. in Rockledge, FL. They are listed at $1/clip on the website so I called and spoke with Alyssa. She was very helpful and even offered to send me whatever quantity of each clip I needed with free shipping. If you ever need them or other OEM-similar clips, retainers, etc... I recommend checking them out and call directly. She mentioned the website lists these particular clips for sale as a 10 pack but she can work with whatever quantity you need if you call. The green fit the most snug and worked great (I used them as a replacement for the yellow ones that came stock on the car and in place of some of the gray where I wanted a more snug fit - the green have a slightly larger second head flange). The gray are alright and do their purpose but if doing it again I would use all green. |

I removed my 2017 inside door panels and now some of the clips won't lock back in the holes and GM wants an arm & leg for them! I will order soon. Thanks Christopher |
