Mike,

Just wanted to share that I installed one of your TC's today and was really surprised by the difference. The car requires significantly less throttle input and just wants to go. I'm having to relearn how to drive my car now as I've gotten so use to the stock pedal mushiness in my M6. I set it up in sport 5. Gonna try ludicrous just for fun but don't see how it's needed, lol. Been wanting to get a TB for a while now. Hope to move on that soon and eager to feel the combo together.

Thanks for a great product

Jason

Mike, will you be having a ported IM in the future to go with your larger TBs?
Just a thought....

For those with the throttle controller where did you mount the control box. Looking to mount mine...but have not decided where yet

I used Velcro and mounted the unit just below the push start button.
Due to the texture of the dash, the tape on the unit would not stick, but with some industrial Velcro it worked.
For me, this is a one time set and forget, so I don't need to have it in my constant view.
On rainy days, it's nice to be able to turn it down a bit!

The difficult part is trying to hide the wiring, hence if it was longer I would have mounted it on the left side of the steering wheel.

I used the hook side of a 1" stick-on velcro square.
It's out of the way but still accessible.

I attached it using the supplied self adhesive just below the HUD controls. I ran the wire up under the steering column. Given the plug in on the unit is on the right I didn't want the excess wire and back direction of wire mounting below the start button. Had plenty of wire to spare, zip tied the excess wire and rested it under the molding along steering column.

Afternoon everyone, I wanted to give an update with the new spacer, the transition is perfect now between the throttle body and the manifold. I tried to include as many photos as I could to show all of the angles. As you can see in the pic with the old spacer on, you could see the green gasket on the intake manifold. With the new spacer, that is no longer visible and there are no longer any steps from tb to spacer to manifold. Just one smooth transition, like it was made that way or something, lol. I have yet to drive the car yet, but after seeing how well this all went together, I feel that I may be able to feel a difference. This is a great addition to their already fantastic ported tb, great job Soler Performance!

How do you like the performance of it?
Did you combine it with the TB?
What is your setting?

I am looking to mount it in the same location - out of the way.
It only has to be accessed once in a while (if not only for the day of setup) and then be left alone.

Eldi,
I'm very happy with the TC, no regrets whatsoever. Haven't picked up a TB yet mainly cause I want to have mine reworked and haven't had time to be without use of the car. I'm running it on SP 5 or 6. Still need to try ludicrous, lol.

I installed a Soler TB last summer and am very happy with the improvement in driveability it provided.

I installed the TC recently but can't comment on it because my car is currently garaged for the winter.
