I recently bought this ZL1 ECF from this fellow--loyaltyisking--and it has been 3 weeks now and I haven't received it and I have not been able to reach him or his business. I have left him multiple messages by phone and many PM's. I have even sent him a message by Paypal. I paid him in full by Paypal--Family and Friends--and now it seems like he has scammed me and vanished. I believe his name is George and he is from the Bay area of Calif. and his business is called "County Speed".
Over the last 6 months I have purchased about $1500 of Gen5 Z-28 parts from him and they have been perfect and he has been great to deal with but evidently something has changed. I will continue to pursue this. BEWARE!!

I tried to buy this from him and we pm'd back and forth and we never could agree on the price. Man I hate to hear this. I hope he answers you or gets it to you soon. Can you go back through paypal and get your money? Maybe not paying him like you did. If someone on this board that lives close to there could go pick it up or at least see what is going on would be a help. If I lived close I would do it for you!

a lot of those zl1 are destroyed, holy hell. I couldn't imaging being in them during the accidents

Tried him again today by phone--just got voicemail and I left a message. I suspect he just closed up shop and pocketed my money. I will keep working on it to see if I can locate him. I will keep everyone updated.

That crook! I could say a lot worse but I won't. I hate it when someone does this to another ZL1 brother. It will come back on him somewhere down the road. I hope soon to. Sorry bud.

When using PayPal never ever pay family and friends unless it is your family. I even pay the pp fees myself but you have no protection for your money. Now i know your saying yea i know this now but PayPal is a great way to pay and the only way a scammer is going to get your money is on family and friends pay so either say no to that or pay the fees yourself. I know most of you say these are Camaro bothers and in most cases thats true but then comes a scammer and pulls this crap. I hate to see this happen but the guy will get it sooner if later, so no family and friends payment on PayPal will protect your money!!

I agree with you 100% on "Family and Friends", however, as I said previously I had already done business with him for about $1600 and the communication had been excellent and the parts were in "like new" condition. I couldn't have been happier. As a result of the first transaction, I felt comfortable with him.

The good news is that he PM'd me a few days ago and stated that he had experienced a personal/family emergency and that he had been out of commission for awhile. He asked if I wanted a full refund or the part I had ordered. I told him I still needed the part and he said it would ship in a few days. I am hoping to receive it this week, so I will keep you all updated.
