22+ ZL1’s faster than other years?

Been hearing a lot of chatter about people claiming that the 22+ ZL1’s are faster than the 17-21 years. Anyone hear anything about this? Is there anything different between the years from a tune/trans tune perspective from the factory? My understanding is that they are the exact same.

Actually, if I’m not mistaken the earlier gen6 ZL1 are faster, pretty sure the 0 to 60 times are quicker on the early years, not sure about the top speed it probably has something to do with smog and mileage on the later years. Of course I’m talking bone stock.

Heard the same thing in 2021 when the 2021's came out. There's no data to support any year being quicker than another. They use the same engine, trans, tuning.

The internet searches for performance times seem to be the same for all years

They're all within normal variance. You can't really compare times across different sources since weather conditions, track conditions, drivers will all be different.

They are not. The cars have been the same performance wise since 2017. Any idiot who tells you differently will never be able to produce a source.

I'm not sure which year, but they did change the tune slightly in one of the newer years. They added more popping on deceleration (19+ maybe) and I also heard the low side fuel pump flows more on later years. (Once again, not sure when it started)

None of which would make them any quicker even if true.

What does it matter if later ZL1s are faster than the earlier ZL1s!
