TPBM still wonders how bunnies and eggs became associated with Christ's Resurrection.

Not really, looked that up when I was young.
The Teutonic deity Eostra was the goddess of spring and fertility, and feasts were held in her honor on the Vernal Equinox. Her symbol was the rabbit because of the animal's high reproduction rate. Spring also symbolized new life and rebirth; eggs were an ancient symbol of fertility. According to History.com, Easter eggs represent Jesus' resurrection. However, this association came much later when Roman Catholicism became the dominant religion in Germany in the 15th century and merged with already ingrained pagan beliefs. The first Easter Bunny legend was documented in the 1500s. By 1680, the first story about a rabbit laying eggs and hiding them in a garden was published. These legends were brought to the United States in the 1700s, when German immigrants settled in Pennsylvania Dutch country, according to the Center for Children's Literature and Culture. TPBM has many Spring Projects lined up. |

Hopefully. New area, I’m not quite sure what to expect yet.
TPBM is ready for St. Pat’s tomorrow.

TRUE!!! During my "race night shuffle" this past Saturday night the 2LS got sprinkled on just enough to get it filthy. At 10PM I was out on the driveway running the leaf blower and muttering obscenities in an attempt to minimize the impact. No such luck. The neighbors love me.
TPBM is thinking about purchasing an old school, non-LS powered project car.

ALWAYS, but unlike you I still have another day after today to work.
TPBM likes the idea of 4-10 hour days for a work week better than a 5 day work week.

False I prefer to buy low mile used cars. I did buy the 87 GN new and I still own it.
TPBM has at least once in their life been terrorized by a squirrel or a monkey. |
