WEIRD DYNO GRAPH!!!

Hey guys… finally got some numbers on the DYNO to satisfy my questions after my JRE remote tune. Car made 655rwhp and 740rwtq but the graph looks strange. Any thoughts?

Hey guys, just trying to make some sense of the data here that HP tuners is giving me. Does the supercharger inlet pressure of 13.5 psi equal my boost level?

It was like 90+ degree outside… looks like my IAT was high?
What’s the diff. Between SAE and IAT 2? One is 86 and the other is 117 ?

I had almost the exact same setup as yours and made 650/673 SAE. Your torque reading looks really high to me.

OK, i see what looks odd... that the graphs read different numbers on the left and right side, so the graph doesnt look even. Also, i see that the TQ had a weird spike... So i think i will take away that the car made 655/650 +/- for now... Send this to JRE for feedback also.

Few things:


Ignore the blip in beginning. Not a good reading on RPMs. Your car didnt make 700+ tq. It looks to be right around 650/650. in STD btw so subtract 3% for SAE readings, but it was hot so that's probably why they corrected STD.


Ignore IAT2, its useless. You want to be looking at MAT and IAT1 temps.


Your MAT temp here is 64C (147F) HOT but typical. IAT 1 is 86F (air entering intake)

In your screenshot you show 168 KPA of pressure. The way to calculate boost is.


MAP - barometric pressure.


EX: At sea level you would take 168.8 - 101 (14.7lb sq in) = 67


67 KPA = 9.7PSI of boost.


So take your highest KPA reading and subtract your barometric pressure and that is your boost in KPA. Then use any pressure calc to convert.


Looks like your barometric pressure is 13.9 psi. (95KPA) so you subtract 168 - 95. (73) = 10.5lb boost.


Its much easier if you change everything to KPA and F. Also raise the limits in the graphs, otherwise if anything is above your threshold you wont see the line graph.
