Okay to mix Mobil 1 ESP 0W40 and ESP X3 0w40 oils?
I see the ESP X3 0W40 is dexos2 approved and also a European formula. Would there be any altercations requarding additives by mixing a few leftover quarts?
Apparently the ESP formula name is changing to Mobil 1 supercar 0W40. https://www.mobil.com/en-us/passenge...supercar-0w-40 |

They are both 0-40 and Dexos 2 so there won’t be any problems mixing them.

Totally agree, no problem at all, I always do that with my oil too, can't throw it away. I have a Ford f-150 and I always buy the best oil for 3.5 Ecoboost is Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5w-30 viscosity, I always mix my leftover oil and so far no problems.
