Only few bucks more than a Focus ST less than GT350, M3, M4, RS3,4,5

There are a lot of variables, but it's interesting to see how much people are paying in different regions. I figure some areas like the Midwest with tornado season upon us, and in some areas where auto theft is high (like El Paso Texas), those will be the outliers.

I am currently shopping my current insurance, which renewing for about an extra $300+ and is now at about $1800 for 6 months (two cars though).

I'm at least twice this, with pretty much the same variables. I've asked my agent to sharpen his pencil.

Yes, but it's been helpful because it has reminded me to reprice mine.

If you're old, have a clean record, and multiple cars you pay alot less

/thread

Cheaper than M cars though

its not helpful! you dont live at someone elses house, you're not the same age, you dont have his credit score, you dont have his relationship, you dont have his extra cars, house, or combined renters insurance, you dont have his driving record, you dont have his 6 month vehicle monitor device showing hard stops or what time of day you drive!! this list literally goes on and on. you cannot compare to anyone else!

This forum just made me switch from Allstate to Progressive. Progressives first 6th month and pay in full discount saving me 150 bucks a month on my ZL1 and old sonoma. Been meaning to get quotes for the past year but been to busy and forgot.

So how long have you been working for the insurance industry, as it seems that you are discouraging people being reminded that they should shop for different insurance companies pretty regularly?

Just got my renewal. 5% increase for my overall policy (3 vehicles) from $800 to $840 for 6 mo. No replacement markup value added. ZL1 was largest increase though. $296 to $310. It is still 1.5% more than my last raise at work. Guess I need to go to work for Allstate!

Stop getting tickets for going to slow on the highway and your insurance will go down.
