Thanks for the feedback guys...
Not interested in lifting the blower just yet... perhaps if i port in the future.

I really, hate all the PVC hose system... really makes the under-hood look terrible.

A catch can is going to add new hoses under the hood, not reduce the existing ones.

Or it's over your head - the Elite can does not vent in the engine bay, that's the point, and it's "loop", not "looped". This has been discussed many times, search it, e.g. https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showp...81&postcount=5

No shop in their right mind is going to put a closed loop can on a 1000hp car with high boost.
Not sure how we jumped from general applications to 1000 hp cars that make up 0.1% of ZL1 applications, but that's your f'd up debate style

He's on my ignore list for just this very reason - he has no capacity for civil discourse. Unfortunately for me, I responded in-kind to one of his past personal attacks, which resulted in a 30-day suspension ... for me.

Anyone running high boost should really have a way to blow off any excessive blow by pressure and the wild can does just that.
I had the Elite 2 installed with my Magnuson 2650. My builder said it would not handle the increased flow and suggested the Mighty Mouse. He installed it and it is working well. BTW, my builder is a certified master tech. So MM gets my vote as well.

Mild build here. Have 10,000 miles on my EE catch can. Zero problems, straight forward install. Catches two table spoons every 3000 mile oil change.

The MM can only vents when it needs to, that’s the advantage. Elite can can’t and if your pumping high boost and power your going to blow seals out, this is a given. It’s really a fact and not an opinion. On a somewhat stock car the elite is fine.

As I said there’s a reason no shop is using closed loop cans on power builds, half the people in this thread have over 800rwhp btw.

Your the outlier and we all know how far your head is up elites a**.

Your also very immature. Changing my response because you know your wrong. Priceless.

This is the main point in my humble opinion. If you’re staying mostly stock or bolt ones, I’m sure the Elite works fine. But if you’re turning up the boost, there’s no way you get the tune nailed first time out. The MM Wild will help you prevent your seal from blowing out while you’re getting things sorted.

I have the Elite CC. Would I be able to swap the MM without lifting the blower?

In fairness there is an alternative, one could install a Metco valve cover breather. On the Hellcat platform all of the catch cans are not vented so its wise to run a valve cover breather which I did for 3 1/2 years on mine before I sold it for the ZL1. That car made just over a 1000hp. I do like that the Mighty Mouse is all in one.
