He has an injen long tube with a hydroshield. If anyone doesn't know what that is, it is a fine meshlike water repellant material sock for your filter. I run one also. Definitely a good investment!

This was a lot of fun too. Especially considering for once it wasn't my car that was getting cut up haha.

You should just keep that cardboard in the slots for that really "unique" look.

It still will not repel all the water, thus increasing the chances of hydrolocking you engine.

MrGood is correct. I currently have t2 ports with my CAI cone sitting right behind the port, you literally can see the cone with the hydroshield on it from standing in front of the car. Also, I live in florida and our rainy season is unlike any other rain, and ive never had ANY problems with the hydroshield or CAI at all, even thru the worse rains. So, the hydroshield does the job, not worried about it in the least. Ive driven thru rains where half the people on the interstate pull off because they cant see. |

Lucky you Austin. I ordered a new painted to match front bumper cover for my Camaro too. However it showed up today looking in the same condition as the bumper cover you are changing. All cracked on the passenger side. I refused it but have yet to see what is going to happen now and how many months I am going to have to wait for the vendor and the shipping company to resolve it while sitting on my money.

I think the only real problem with the intake would be driving through standing water of more than a foot. By then you probably have more to worry about than hydrolock though.
